An entry in theTales of...series for the Nintendo DS, but was not directly developed by Namco. Due to the game's very poor reception, Tempest was shifted from a "mothership" title and made into the very first "escort" title, dividing the series between the main series and spinoffs/sequels. Even so, Tempest's spirit lives on thanks to the two main protagonists Caius and Rubia appearing in side material and inRadiant Mythology. Rubia also appears as a support character inTales of Hearts.
