A battleship class character inWarship Girls R. Nelson hasorangesometimes borderingredhair pulled back into alonglowponytailwhich can often be missed andblue eyes. A mole sits just beneath herright eyewhich she keepsclosedat all times. Her outfit is based on Horatio Nelson's admiraluniform. An embroidered black coat with goldenepaulettesand trim sits atop a white frilled undershirt with her right sleeve rolled up to the elbow. Whitegloves, a redskirtand a pair of blackthighhighboots finish the outfit off. She's also personally armed with a Royal Navy officers' sword with a black grip and golden hilt. Her closed eye and rolled up sleeve are a reference to the permanent wounds suffered by Admiral Nelson. A large portion of her machinery is located on her right side with all three of her triple 16-inch gunturretsrepresenting the design of the Nelson-class where all main armaments were located forward of the super structure. On her left a large curved shield in the shape of a ship's stern is used as protection. There are several additional turrets of double 6-inch guns located on the inner ring of the machinery as a secondary armament with a mast in the back. She received a remodel (post #2244658) early in the game's life. Nelson's uniform mostly remains the same but with addedmedals, a red and bluesashdraping down from her right shoulder, blackgarter strapsattached to her boots and she clutches onto a goldenpocket watch. The machinery is painted in green and blue camouflage. Two of her main turrets and the rear section of the machinery mounts an excessive number of single 20mm Oerlikon cannons and the central turret plays host to a 2 Pounder 8 Barrel "Pom-Pom" anti-air gun. The inner ring of equipment is removed with three of the four 6-inch turrets now located on the more ship like designed stern, better representing how these secondary batteries were positioned. The mast has also been replaced with a smokestack and the ship's conning tower with various gunnery and aircraft detecting radar.
