Making its entrance inGundam Thunderbolt, theFA-78 Full Armor Gundamis a massive series of upgrades to theEarth FederationRX-78-2 Gundammobile suit, with a new dark-blue paint job, four extra manipulator arms carrying shields, a twin-barreled beam rifle, and missile launchers at every corner, as well as the extra added armor, which can be ditched if need be, and extra boosters to aid in mobility. It was piloted by the brash and recklessIo Fleming, who as usual, blared freestyle jazz through its communicator as he announced his presence to the battlefield. Not to be mistaken for theFA-78-1 Full Armor Gundamfrom theGundam MSVseries, which is a vastly different MS.
