Dragon Ballfighting game series, debuting on the PlayStation 2 in 2005. In English, the games were referred to as theBudokai Tenkaichiseries, building off of the localized title for the otherwise-unrelatedBudokaiseries of Dragon Ball fighting games (known in Japanese as just theDragon Ball Zfighting game series). TheDragon Ball Xenoversegames served as spiritual successors to the series (afterBurst Limitand theRaging Blastseries), until its return in 2024 with Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero. Alongside featuring playable recreations of the events ofDragon Ball Z, its movies,GT, andSuper, each game features unique playable 'what if' events.
